Our Staff

Dr. Sudhir Sekhsaria, M.D., FAAAAI, FACAAI

Dr. Sekhsaria has been in practice since 1992. He is board certified in Allergy & Immunology, and has been certified in Diagnostic and Clinical Immunology. Dr. Sekhsaria completed his fellowship in Allergy & Immunology at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland, after completing a pediatric residency at Howard University Hospital. He has published many scientific articles in asthma, allergy and immunology. He Specializes in optimal treatment and management of severe asthma, Chronic Sinusitis, Food Allergies, Hives, Eczema, Drug and Bee Sting Allergy, Immune deficiencies, Aspirin desensitization, metal allergy for orthopedic implants He is actively involved in teaching physicians-in-training about asthma, allergic disease and immune problems. Dr. Sekhsaria has been elected a Fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, and Fellow of American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, the specialty’s premier organizations.


Dr. Vibhav Sekhsaria, Board Certified in ENT.

Vibhav Sekhsaria is a Co-Owner and Practicing Physician of the Family ENT, Allergy and Asthma Care as well as the ENT, Allergy and Asthma Center which have offices in Gaithersburg, Rockville, and Takoma Park, MD. He completed his Bachelor of Science Degree with Magna Cum Laude honors and his Medical Degree from The George Washington University as part of their prestigious Integrated BA/MD program. Dr. Sekhsaria then completed his residency training in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan followed by an Academic Fellowship in Rhinology and Anterior Skull Base Surgery under the tutelage of the renowned Dr. Vijay Anand at The Weill Cornell Medical College in New York.

Dr. Sekhsaria grew up in the DC metro area (Hail to the Redskins!) and is ecstatic to be practicing in the community that helped raise him. His wife is completing a doctorate in Clinical Psychology while remaining an active participant in the community. They enjoy a wide array of hobbies that include sports, movies, books, and various outdoor activities.

Throughout his training and career, Dr. Sekhsaria has been dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of care in the field of Otolaryngology using Evidence-Based Medicine. He strongly believes in the importance of communication and compassion when treating patients, while bringing new and innovative techniques that can greatly improve surgical outcomes and patient quality of life.

Areas of interest for Dr. Sekhsaria include:

    • Novel techniques for Minimally Invasive Sinus Surgery and In-Office Balloon Sinuplasty

    • Latera – A new minimally invasive treatment for nasal valve collapse and nasal obstruction
    • Audiology and Hearing Aid Services with Audiology Doctorate, Dr. Megan Eitel AuD, providing excellent 1-1 Care for patients with hearing loss
    • General ENT services including Tonsillectomy, Adenoidectomy, Surgery for Thyroid/Parathyroid Surgery and Salivary Gland Disorders, Tracheostomy, and Treatment for Vocal Cord Disorders and Laryngopharyngeal Reflux disease.
        His fellowship at Cornell University in New York was highlighted by training not only in the treatment of advanced skull base tumors resected in conjunction with the premier neurosurgical team headed by Dr. Theodore Schwartz; but also by the adoption of advanced techniques combined with groundbreaking and innovative equipment such as 3D-intraoperative stereotactic surgical navigation, steroid-eluting stent placement, balloon sinuplasty, and the use of biodegradable implants in the treatment of chronic rhinosinusitis.

Certification:
Dr. Sekhsaria has been certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery

He is also a member of the American Rhinologic Society having completed a Rhinology fellowship at the Weill Cornell University in New York.


Dr. Nasim Reedy

Neshat Tebyanian, CRNPDr. Nasim Reedy joined Family Allergy and Asthma Care in July, 2016. Dr. Reedy is from Washington University in St. Louis where she completed her allergy and immunology training with children and adults. Prior to that, she completed her pediatric residency training at the University of Florida. She has moved with her husband and daughter to Maryland to begin her practice with us.

Dr. Reedy has experience caring for patients of all ages with asthma, allergic rhinitis, eczema, food allergies, urticaria (hives), angioedema and recurrent infections. She has been actively involved in asthma and food allergy research during her training.


Neshat Tebyanian, CRNP

Neshat Tebyanian, CRNPNeshat Tebyanian, CRNP is the nurse practitioner for Family Allergy & Asthma Care . She received her training as a Family Nurse Practitioner at the University of Maryland School of Nursing in May, 2008. She has 8 years of experience as a critical care nurse at the University of Maryland Hospital. Neshat also has a bachelor of science degree in Biological Sciences with a minor in Anthropology from U.M.B.C. She comes to Family Allergy & Asthma Care with a many year history of work in the field, and is an allied health member of the Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. She has a particular interest is in asthma, hives and food allergies. Neshat is interested in asthma and clinical immunology research and is an active participant of the clinical study team at Family Allergy & Asthma Care.
